UAE Society of Engineers hosted the 23rd meeting of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Engineers Union. The meeting, which was held on Friday 11 February 2022 at the Intercontinental Hotel, was attended by the presidents and representatives of all GCC engineering organizations. During the meeting, Mr. Mohamed Ali Al Khozaae was appointed as the Secretary General of the Union in place of Engineer Khamis bin Salim Al-Souli whose term of office has come to an end.
Members of the Supreme Council then began discussing the agenda items including discussion of the literary and financial reports, approving the year budget, and ratifying the proposed strategy. The meeting also discussed the topics of the Gulf Engineering Forum for the next year and the succession of the General Secretariat alphabetically in addition to the activation of the five federal committees and exchange of visits to the engineering projects.
